Maridadi is an African word that means 'beautiful' and the owners chose this name as they feel the home is just that - a beautiful property right here in paradise!

This home has been recently renovated, both inside and out, and is located on a canal in the exclusive residential community known as Governors Harbour, which is on the prestigious Seven Mile Beach Corridor. This beautiful, custom designed, contemporary inspired home offers a modern, functional and family friendly open floor plan, teaming with natural light, beautiful furnishings, a stunning sunken living room, full equipped kitchen with custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, a seperate TV/family room area and a wet bar and butlers pantry off the den.

Having everything a large family or group of friends would need on vacation, it can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people in the 4 gorgeous bedrooms, and the queen sleeper sofa located in the den . The master suite has a comfortable King bed where you can curl up at the end of a sun filled day or you can enjoy the tranquil spa like bath. Two of the guest rooms each have a queen bed and the 4th guest room has a Pottery Barn bunk bed, perfect for children or young adults! For an extra guest or a couple there is a pull out couch in the den area, which can be closed off for privacy, making it like a 5th bedroom!

The state of the art, custom kitchen will give endless joy to any aspiring chef and the large counter dining and bar stools make this a great space to congregate and reminise about the day’s activities, while preparing a delicious meal! The home has a large gas BBQ grill, perfect for an island cookout, while the family relaxes on this magnificent property, lounging pool side. There is a comforatble family room/TV area where you can watch movies on the big screen, with surround sound. There is also a private dock on the canal that provides access to the North Sound, Stingray City, Rum Point and more. So if you wish to hire a boat, or Waverunners, there is plenty of space to park them right at the villa dock. It is also a perfect, calm waterway for kayaking, paddle boarding and exploring the natural environment of the surrounding area, sould you choose to rent these items.

This home is a short walk from the powdery white sands of Seven Mile Beach, with the nearest access being the 7 Mile Beach Public Beach next to Calico Jack's Bar and Restaurant and the Kimpton Seafire Hotel, about a 5 minute walk. The newest hotel on island, the Kimpton Seafire has 3 wonderful restaurants, a coffee shop and gift shop, along with water sports rentals, should you desire some entertainment! The Governors Square outdoor shopping plaza, a 5 minute drive from the villa, has numerous retail shops, a coffee shop, a bank and an ATM, a liquor store, a grocery store and much more, all for your convenience.
