Angler's Acre is a remodeled home on the Alsea River and great for those who love the outdoors. This home is within the tidal flow - the river flows both East and West depending on the tide and brings with it unique moments. Relax on the deck at the patio table or chaise lounge and watch the wildlife at the water's edge. The resident bald eagle hunts the meadow across the river and four or five hummingbirds are known to 'fight' over the feeders at the windows. Seals ride the tide past the house when the Salmon and Steelhead are running or if there are bait fish in the river. Otters are often seen playing in the river (easily viewed when in a canoe or kayak) and herds of Roosevelt Elk graze the meadow across the river.

Launch and dock your boat right in the backyard or cast a line off the boat dock (the salmon in the picture was caught off the dock). There is abundant crabbing just a few miles downriver and plentiful clamming flats that can be accessed by car or more privately by boat. It is common to dig your limit in a short time. A crab cooker is available for use at the house. Take your boat up the mouth of drift creek and explore rarely seen wilderness areas.

The house is cozy and comfortable with roughly 1500 square feet of living space. The kitchen is open to the living room making cooking a fun and social event. There is a large dining room table that seats six and an island that seats three. There are two bedrooms and a set of bunk beds in the utility room off the master. The master bedroom has a queen bed, private bathroom with 5 ft. walk-in shower, and television with cable. The smaller second bedroom has a queen bed. There is a bathtub in the hall bathroom.

Culinary delights are everywhere at the coast - there is a list of the best local restaurants at the house. Live entertainment can be found every night of the week.
