Let out a sigh of relief when you arrive at this incredible property! The views and sounds of Western Bay immediately flood your senses - quickly bringing you into vacation mode. Thankfully, the bay vista follows you inside through expansive windows, found in almost all of the cottage's rooms.

Don't hesitate to throw on your bathing suit! With the bay just outside of the back door, you'll enjoy instant access to coastal activities like swimming, fishing, and boating. Relaxing on the furnished porch with a book in hand is also an excellent option!

Once everyone has worked up an appetite, fire up the gas grill for an at-home barbecue! While the grill master watches the burgers sizzle and boats pass, the rest of the group can get busy in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. Choose to dine indoors at the 6-person table or feast al fresco around the outdoor table for 4!

End the day with a long soak in the Jacuzzi tub, located in the first bedroom's en-suite bathroom. A good night's sleep will be waiting in either of the bedrooms, both featuring queen beds and plenty of storage space for your belongings. In the morning, wake up with a cup of coffee on the porch, watching as the dolphins and seals meander by!

When you're not swimming or fishing just steps from the cottage, set forth via kayak or your own boat into the Mt. Desert Narrows! Don't have either? Don't worry! Kayak and canoe rentals are available at National Park Canoe & Kayak Rentals, while larger boats can be found almost next door at Mount Desert Yacht Charters and Boat Rentals.

Stay ashore for excursions in Acadia National Park, located just 12 miles south! This 47,000-acre park features granite peaks, dense woodland, and rocky shores. Enjoy everything from hiking to landscape photography to the perfect picnic along the shoreline! Make sure to keep your eyes out for local wildlife, like peregrine falcons, whales, seals, and the occasional moose.

You'll find plenty of other attractions nearby, including Wild Acadia Fun Park & Water Slides, Seal Cove Auto Museum, and Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse!
