At Bear Point House, you can find all you need in the neighborhood!
Walk in off the east deck and you are welcomed into an open floor plan. The living room has comfy recliners and sofa, dining room with seating for six, and additional bar seating. The fully equipped kitchen will have you ready to cook the catch of the day or bring back some southern fair from OSO Restaurant which is less than a block from Bear Point House.
To finish off the main level is the primary bedroom featuring a king bed, a private west facing deck, and private bathroom including a soaking tub and walk in shower. Bonus off the master bathroom, a dressing area, walk in closet, and a stack washer and dryer for your convenience.
Let's go to the second floor where your guests will have two bedrooms with a queen bed each and these bedrooms share a hall bathroom with tub/shower combination. One of the guest bedrooms has a little private deck. A great place for morning coffee and reflection. There is a sleeper twin chair in the west guest bedroom.
There sofa is a sleeper in the living room to finish out guest accommodations. The TV's are smart TV's and are WIFI streaming.
With all of the peaceful scenery that surrounds you, take time to enjoy all the other perks while visiting. Outdoor seating both on the decks and under the home for outdoor dining and socializing. Your just a little bit away from the beach, boating, fishing, shopping, restaurants, and the endless entertainment Alabama's gorgeous Gulf Coast has to offer!
You need to stop by The Ship Store! Drinks, supplies, food, souvenirs, and meet some of the locals. Sit on the decks and listen to live music during certain seasons at the OSO TIKI bar. This is a quiet neighborhood with lots of people riding bikes and walking! The bay views are always spectacular. Sunsets will put on a show like no other.
There are two public boat ramps within 10 minutes. The boat ramp at Bear Point is specific to owners.
Public beaches that are a 10-20 minute drive away and Gulf Shores has a renowned pier for fishing! One of the best parts of the bay area is that there are plenty of dolphins to be seen. Watch the sailboats and personal boats in the peaceful, quiet and laid back neighborhood in Bear Point. Your visit in any season is warm and welcoming.
Bear Point is approximately a 12 minute drive to the nearest public beach and near the Orange Beach Recreation Center (2.8 mile), which has a pool, tennis & basketball courts and fitness center and classes for a small daily fee.
At Bear Point Marina you can rent a boat slip, jet skis, pontoon boats, Contact the Ship Store prior to your arrival for availability.
Book a Dolphin tour, Fishing Charter, Sunset or Pirate Cruises. It's all about location at this property. Good times await.
