Tour Descriptions:

Family friendly Cape May home owned now by second and third generation members of the family. We have recently renovated the house where we spent many, many happy summers, falls and winter weekends and now we invite you to enjoy it too. Six blocks back from Beach Avenue, the beautiful sunrises are waiting for you. Easy walk to the beach if you want to go all day or later in the afternoon (our favorite time) - we have beach chairs and umbrellas, and a beach caddy to make your packing even easier. House sleeps six: 2 bedrooms (1 king room with an adjustable bed, and 2 twins in another) and a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. New ceiling fans , ocean breeze and new wall AC in living room will keep you cool. New blinds offering a darkening room effect will help you sleep. Kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances. Large side and backyard for playing games or just relaxing. Both indoor and outdoor games are available in the large back and side yards and a treasure awaits those willing to try an escape room type of activity! Bath towels and linens provided, and a washing machine inside. Outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach also includes a dressing area (my father build the enclosure years ago). Beach tags also provided. Family friendly neighborhood.

My family grew up going to the shore and settled in Cape May in 1974 when my parents bought this house. Now my niece, nephew and I welcome you to enjoy our family home that we have just finished remodeling. New pictures will continue to be added, but enjoy these. Note the new baby robins that we worked hard not to disturb as we trimmed the landscape. The mother robin watched us carefully and realized we were not trying to bother her babies - she continued to swoop in and feed them offering us relaxing moments as we watched. They have now all fledged...

Sunsets, mini-golf, beach outings, birdwatching, nature centers and hikes, all await you - come enjoy our Cape May home. Games are also provided or watch some tv (streaming available). Internet also provided.

Cape May is a quiet town known for its Victorian homes. It is the oldest seashore resort in America and also claims that it has the best sunsets (and I have to agree). Our Cape May Cottage sits on the corner of a quiet neighborhood and is just six short blocks to the beach/ocean. We provide the beach chairs, umbrellas, beach caddy, and beach tags. All you need are your bathing suits. After the beach, enjoy an outdoor shower, or just enjoy the outdoor seating while having appetizers and drinks, and possibly cook on the charcoal grill and play some of the outdoor games provided. Cape May is also known for its quaint Washington Street mall and West End Garage (two shopping areas) with lots of fun shops and unique merchandise. Tours of the Victorian area are also available as are "ghost tours" since Cape May is supposed to be haunted. Birding in October pulls a lot of people to the area, but Christmas is also special as many of the Victorian homes are specially decorated.  There are also at least four micro-breweries close by if beer is your thing or three wineries host wine tasting events throughout the year. Casual to fine dining is also an option in Cape May. There is something for everyone in Cape May including searching for Cape May Diamonds on the bay beaches. Come enjoy our Cape May home.
