Hunterston Cottage is less than 1 mile from Ft. Sill Army Base and close to the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. Private house with large fenced yard, off-road parking, and very secure in a quiet neighborhood.
Hunterston Cottage is well-maintained and charming....filled with original art, antique furniture, and other antiques. If you enjoy art, antiques, architecture, and history, then you will LOVE staying at Hunterston Cottage in Lawton!
Super CLEAN and all amenities --- fully stocked kitchen includes condiments, cooking oils, spices, etc. --All pots, pans, skillets, bakeware, and appliances including small appliances -- coffee maker, toaster, veggie steamer, blender, food processor, and more. Basics are provided!!!! (water, coffee, hot tea, condiments, cooking oil, spices)
Bathroom includes -- blow-dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hairspray, and fingernail care items. T
Please read all house rules/home manual and share that information with all your traveling group. The person who books the home is responsible for the behavior and actions of all persons in their group.
Guest access Entire main floor -- 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, and porch coffee nook as well as the entire 1 acre yard and garden areas. No access to out buildings/garages or basement.
THERE IS also a printer for guests to use to print out boarding passes or other urgent matters.
Other things to note Hunterston Cottage is a treasure trove of antiques and original art. Please enjoy looking...but do not touch or handle!!! :-) Relax, talk, unplug from the world! It's an old home...the hardwood floors creak when someone walks across them.

Please note that due to the age of the home -- the size of doorways and hallways are NOT adequate for wheelchairs or any sort of mobile chair.
Therefore ALL guests and visitors must be able to climb stairs on their own, walk, and sit in regular seating. Temporary/portable ramps are NOT permitted as they are beyond our insurance and in violation of our home rules. Thank you for understanding.

Susanna has been the acting hostess and manager for more than a decade after a career as an executive chef which took her through 63 countries and 48 states.
Susanna is the former owner of a Wedding Chapel and Reception Hall in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee where she not only served as executive chef but also performed over 3000 wedding ceremonies as a fully ordained minister for all 50 states and US territories.
