Tour Descriptions:

In Grinton near Reeth. 3-bedrooms (sleeps 5) Great scenic views from all rooms

Situated in the middle of the village of Grinton, opposite the very popular Bridge Inn and the beautiful St Andrews Church (known as 'the cathedral of the Dale') Corner House is a traditional stone house, combining features like beamed ceilings and multifuel stove, with all the comforts of modern living such as dishwasher and washing machine to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A stream behind the house runs down to the River Swale, about 200 yards away, giving opportunities for riverside walks along part of the Coast to Coast path. There are wonderful views from all the principal rooms and the countryside of Swaledale is right on your doorstep, with walks to suit ramblers and strollers alike. Within easy walking distance is Reeth, 'the Capital of the Dale', with its huge village green, surrounded by cafes, pubs, restaurants, craft and gift shops. Swaledale boasts several summer countryside shows, and the Swaledale Music Festival in May/June. Unlimited internet Wi-fi access available, without charge. We have our own website for Corner House, which is: www.holiday-cottage-in-swaledale.com or you can find a link to it by clicking on the 'Facilities' button above and then scrolling down.

If you are thinking about booking one of our cottages, please note that we have been owners since 1996, starting with Corner House in Grinton, North Yorkshire, and then with our 3 properties in Normandy in France a year later. You will see from our own websites that we have received reviews from guests, many of whom have stayed with us many times over the years. We also have our own website for the cottage (Corner House, Grinton).
