We are located in Flateyri, a traditional fishing town in the middle of Önundafjörður, fjord known for its landscape and ?history.
The Westfjords or West Fjords is the name of the large peninsula in northwestern Iceland and an administrative district. It lies on the Denmark Strait, facing the east coast of Greenland.
Each part of Westfjords have their uniq charaters. It is one big wilderness with fishing towns and ocassional farms in between. Northen part of Westfjords are conservation area. Westfjords are rich of wildlife at sea and land. Birds, foxes, seals and whales. The fauna is rich of all kinds of Medicinal herbs and berries.
Flateyri is situated in the center of northern part of Westfjords.
