You Won't Find A Cottage With Better Views On The West Side Of Cape Breton
If you are looking for a remote, yet well-located retreat, this gorgeous, cedar-shingled Cape Breton cottage is perfect for a getaway after a harsh year. It is perched high above the ocean with epic views and sea sounds. These are some of the most spectacular vistas in all of Cape Breton: endless ocean, beach and Sea Wolf Island (framed perfectly, as if for your personal pleasure!) In the cottage, summer evenings are cool –great for sleeping– often with brilliant sunsets. Lobster boats haul in their catch out front, whales and eagles pass by, seals pop up in front to check you out, and other wildlife provides distraction as you figure out how to spend your day. Beaches? Hiking? Fine Dining? Music? All close at hand…

The bedroom at TumbleSea offers a comfortable Queen bed. There’s all the kitchen equipment you need at TumbleSea to prepare a feast from local specialties. You will love the supple leather couch, which is the perfect spot for connecting with friends, digging into a good book, or just gazing out at the sparkling water. You can watch storms develop on the horizon, and play themselves out before they ever reach you. The magnificently wide deck stairs outside (as big as a bleacher!), gently cascade toward the ocean, and ask you to relax and take in the clear, starry night skies, and steady cadence of the light of the island lighthouse.
Nestled amongst trees, roses and the water, TumbleSea cottage offers complete privacy, complete comfort, and an unforgettable week. All this on a beautiful property with spring-fed brooks, just five minutes from three great beaches and the Cabot Trail, a half hour from the National Park, and twenty minutes from two of the world’s finest golf courses at Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs.
At present, there is rural high speed/wiFi, but according to the phone company, we are scheduled for fibre op installation by July, which should result in very fast speeds.
re COVID-19
At the moment, there are still government restrictions in place, at both the US border, and at the Nova Scotia border. This cottage normally books by the week, Saturday to Saturday. We are not sure exactly what the restrictions will be for this year. If you are outside NS, you might want to inquire about this, or wait until restrictions/ policies more clear.
