Exposed beams, beautiful woodwork and a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace beautifully showcase the home’s 1970s roots. This old-school Southwest charm extends throughout 3,000 square feet of living space, fully furnished with comfortable couches and modern amenities like cable TVS and wireless internet access.

Start each morning with an al fresco breakfast on the back deck overlooking Lake Athens. When you’re ready to get out on the water, follow the brick path down to the boathouse to begin your fishing voyage.

Return home with your catch of the day to fry up a fresh feast in the fully equipped kitchen. Share your culinary masterpiece at the breakfast bar set for 4 or bring the whole group together for a meal around the classic wood dining table. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are plenty of dining options just 10 minutes west in the charming town of Athens.

End your evening by watching the stars light up the lake from the swinging bench. On colder nights, stay inside to decompress in front of the flat-screen cable TV in the living area while the kids make themselves at home in the upstairs playroom.
